OUR GYM
LIFT Performance is located inside the Clark Bros. Bolt Co. Building at 409 Canal St, Plantsville.
We’re located on the south side, with our main entrance accessed through the parking lot inside the stone gate.
We operate out of a 3,500-square-foot gym space.
We have three separate training rooms, each equipped for a distinct purpose related to our training program.
Our gym is fitted with state-of-the-art training equipment that brings the best that strength & conditioning has to offer to our clients. This includes powerlifting racks, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, chains, sandbags, and much more.
We’re also located directly on the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail.
Founded in 1854 by brothers William, Henry, and Charles Clark, the Clark Brothers made bolts, nuts, washers, screws, and rivets throughout their company’s existence. A fire destroyed the Clark plant, office, and warehouse in 1893, but the company rebuilt in Southington, constructing a 100,000-square-foot facility on Canal Street.
The Clark Brothers Bolt Company eventually shut its doors in 1987, after 133 years in operation. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
Today, we’re happy to be one of several businesses operating out of this historical, timeless, and modernized building - and proudly carry the legacy of being the modern Clark Brothers Trio.
